This hour long recording of little interwoven noise /city /instrumental /ambient /landscape /industrial /spatial interludes is the perfect existential soundtrack for the awesome act of “waiting for someone.� . These “pieces and parts� compositions are beautiful and adventurous no-time distant backdrops, each disconnected with their own narrative, direction and evolution. argento is a beautiful patchwork of electronic music which sounds living and breathing. This recording plays out like an electronic simulation of the human circulatory system progressively passing through all of the parts of the body. Propeller is Mark Spybey, who also records as Dead Voices On Air and used to be a member of Zoviet-France and Sofortkontakt!. argento was recorded in and around 1999 in Vancouver with the help of guitarist Eric Pounder, David Wright of Not Breathing, Ryan Moore of Twilight Circus Dub Sound System, Frank Verschuuren (Frankie Pett) and Abintra musicians/producers Darryl Neudorf and Sugarpill.
