Girls Are Short ( )

Early North American
Upper Class ( http://upperclassrecordings.com/ @Upper_Class )
This release makes you feel like you've just eaten an entire bag of magic rainbow skittles. There's this great sweet taste and initial sugar shock and then the inevitable sugar buzz that always lasts after the feast. Girls Are Short's early north american CD is chocked full of energetic beats, candy coated sounds and distinct wacky vocals, which string you along in a dream state Willy Wonka-style wonderland. The music on this CD is very thematic & blurry sounding - it's an appropriate dream sound track for fond happy memories. GIRLS ARE SHORT are Daniel [tnwd]Z, and Alex a[sp]P. They are the two core members of a collective of musicians, engineers, and other knob tweekers. As their biography notes, GIRLS ARE SHORT are "...the sound of a busload of kids skipping school, running home, pressing 'record' and screaming for joy..." early north american is released through Upper Class Recordings, www.upperclass.to (the Cansecos & the Russian Futurists) an independent record label based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
