The album goes through uplifting, gospel, percussive and deep funky house start to finish. The sound is tight and the expressions are at times emotional and just filled with positive energy. In a recent on air interview with Evan Landes in his new home in L.A. he has transpired all these wonderful songs plus collaborations with his partner Solara. Some classic groove is inspired on ‘You Love House’. Screaming horns weave between the vocals from Chappell. In the break the chords take over and transform this track into a powerful body experience. Dropping an Afro Jazz feel good vibe is what ‘Unified as One’ does with such ease. Indeya & Titus Fotso head up the wonderful range of vocals in a captivating way that your focus is clearly devoted to that alone but you know your body is grooving to the Afro sound. Solara returns on a commanding note on ‘Deeper’ with Raya Beam. The lyrics drive the entire body motion and song with a concentrated low end melody and whirling pads in the background. Good way to get any party started with a banging track.
